Privacy
This site uses Matomo (matomo.org), a free and open-source analytics platform, for aggregate visitor statistics. Matomo is self-hosted on infrastructure in Germany (Karlsruhe). No data is shared with third parties or transferred to third countries.
What is collected
- Truncated IP address — the final two octets are dropped before storage, so the recorded address cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.
- The page visited, time on page, and navigation path during the session.
- Referring URL (the page you came from).
- Browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution.
- Date and time of access.
No cookies, no cross-session tracking
The tracker runs in cookieless mode. Returning visits are not linked across sessions; only a short-lived, non-persistent hash is used within a single visit.
Do Not Track
The Matomo instance honours the Do Not Track browser signal. If your browser sends DNT, no data about your visit is recorded at all.
Legal basis and retention
Processing is based on legitimate interest in low-impact, anonymised reach measurement to improve the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Raw visitor logs are automatically deleted after 180 days.
Opt out
You can opt out at any time. Use the opt-out page on the Matomo server, or enable Do Not Track in your browser.
